FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CHRISTAIN AGUILAR’S FATHER’S PLEA TO THE MEDIA AND LAW ENFORCEMENT: “DO NOT GIVE UP ON MY SON.”

Sweetwater, FL – Carlos Aguilar, the father of Christian Aguilar, is asking for the media to release his request for the FBI to join the search for Christian.

“Do not give up on my son. We need the FBI to join the search for Christian. We need his body to be found to create a solid case and make sure Pedro never walks outside of a jail cell,” said Carlos Aguilar.

Aguilar is also asking for University of Florida to help disseminate information about the case to its students. He said that when volunteers give out flyers on the campus some students aren’t familiar with the case.

“Someone on campus may have seen Pedro’s truck or my son. Someone on campus may have the key to finding his body,” said Aguilar.

Sweetwater Mayor Manny Maroño, the police chief and ten police officers will be traveling back to Gainesville tonight with 10 ATVs.

Tips about what happened to Christian should be made by calling 352-393-7670.

Monetary donations can be made out to Doral Academy c/o Christian Aguilar. Donations, machetes, rubber boots and snacks can be dropped off in Sweetwater City Hall, 500 SW 109th Place, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
