“No Endorsement” Recommendation For Either President Obama or Mitt Romney

Brothers and Sisters,

It is extremely important that we are fully aware of the FOP positions for our membership in Washington, D.C. and the positions of the Presidential candidates in order that we make an informed decision for the future of our country and our members.

The Grand Lodge submitted a questionaire to President Obama and to Mitt Romney with questions regarding the positions of the FOP in order to learn their stance on our many important issues.

The endorsement of the FOP for either candidate must come from the member states.  In order for either candidate to receive the endorsement they must receive a 2/3rd vote from the states.  At the 63rd Annual Conference in Palm Beach Gardens the Delegates and Trustees voted “No Endorsement” for either candidate and this preference has been forwarded to National President Canterbury.
